PanoMap PMS’s Requests to Web server

This system is developed for ASP+MSSQL,
please confirm if the server you use has installed MSSQL server 2000 or above versions, is ASP supported.

Other Necessary Requests

Set up and configure this system on a qualified server according to the “User’s Guide”
Register a domain name and complete correct redirecting.
According to Google Map API protocol, register a correct Googlle Map API KEY of your own, detail registration and address refer to:http://code.google.com/apis/
maps/signup.html

Frontend features and operation introduction

Above is the main frame.Note: All frame graphs may be click and enlarge.
The frame has 8 functional areas:

Page top website LOGO and page top Ads area, the user may customize its own LOGO and its own Google Ads, the Ads will automatically alter corresponding ads based on backend set parameters according to different region chosen.
Data chosen function for region.
Data screening function for categories.
Selection function of partner website. (in this part, the system shall be able to auto acquire list info from PanoMap website)
Display area of Google map, data files with markers are accurately displayed here in this area. This is also the display area of major panoramic data and functions.
Side bar ads area, also it is able to automatically alter corresponding ads based on backend set parameters according to different region chosen.
Data text links listing area, which provides a direct view of the list of all markers in current map window, this list can be sorted per different sorting methods.
Website copyright, contact info and registration info area (Note: The LOGO and Link of PanoMap Group on the left bottom must be kept).

Above shows the effect of thumb display function
When the mouse is moved on markers in Map or links on list at the right, the system will automatically pop up thumb data of the corresponding marker, the thumb adopts small stream display to allow the browser to decide whether an intensive browse to this scene is needed, so to improve visiting and using efficiency.

Above shows the middle size data pop-up windows
The middle size data pop-up window consists graphic illustration and text introduction, the middle size window is corresponding to middle size panoramic picture and text introduction of corresponding scenes. The user may click full screen link to enter next full screen large size frame.

Above shows the full size panoramic display frame
This frame is designed for high resolution panoramic picture display, clicking “Return to Map” button on upper left of screen will toggle to previous map display frame.

Backend features, function and operation

Provide preview, editing and delete functions for page top and side bar ads.

Above shows the three major frames for region adding and management
The user may add parameter information for corresponding display region and may sort existing region data with manual queues.
This region may be set for different map display type of respectively satellite map or vector map.

Above shows two major frames for category adding and management
This function provides mainly sorting and screening of categories data, user may classify different categories per need.
Different categories of users may use different marker pics to display in map window directly.

Above shows the SWF panoramic scene adding interface.
First choose corresponding category, fill in name and Longitude/Latitude info of the scene. Also the user may select corresponding picturing area on Google satellite map popped up via Longitude/Latitude acquiring button, if there is no high resolution Google satellite map available for the picturing area, the user may record Longitude/Latitude with portable GPS device during shooting, and fill in detailed Longitude/Latitude data in Longitude/Latitude parameter field. After that, the user will upload thumbs, middle size and large size panoramic SWF files of the corresponding area.
The user may add text description to this scene, the user is allowed to fill in HTML, also the user is quite free to create characteristic text introduction information.

Above shows Adding frame for ZOOMIFY scenes.
It mainly used to satisfy people interested in matrix stitching, here shows the way to display super large size pics with the zoom in/out function provided by ZOOMIFY software. Operation of ZOOMIFY software refers to related official information.

Above shows frame for adding custom scenes
This function is interface provided for system to realize more expression, HTML may be used in middle size and large size.

Above shows management and editing frame of existing scenes.
Provide basic management functions such as scene preview, edit and delete

Summary

This system is the first version, there must be shortcomings, your comments are mostly appreciated for us to make better improvement in future upgrading.
The initial purpose of software development is offering more panographers with ideal publishing system, so to offer more panographers with better chances to show their works and achieve better benefit.
For future development and upgrade, we have to charge a little one-off fee from the system users.
